Christmas Eve I will have open house so people can drop by and have nibbles and fun. Christmas Day will be family plus friends Julie (from France) who is staying with us right now, and Karin, who somehow has become part of the family over the last 10 years or so. Steve and I will cook, and we will play Pass the Pigs!

All of this will be supervised by the little green monster who came in the post today. Thank you so much. I won't get him out of his box til Christmas Day. Currently he is lying beneath as is his wont... beneath the Christmas Tree!
