First, a topic dear to the hearts of most of my flist, Season 3 of Supernatural. Here's a petition. Go sign it now, dear flist. You know you want to.

Next Wednesday, the old guy that lives in my room goes to get tissue typed and processed for a lung transplant, and then we wait for a donor, which when you think about it is really waiting for someone to die. I expect I'll get used to that idea someday, just not today.

And finally, pretty pretty music that I have to share, because everyone needs to hear these guys and fall in love with the music and go buy the CDs and make them famous so that I can rely on them making more amazing music. So grab and listen and love them the way I do.

Luke Doucet - Broken One is the first. Luke is a Canadian boy, so he'll never be heard, if I don't start pimping him.

Steve Carlson - I'll Remember You is just too lovely and romantic and weepy and adorable for me to even bear it. I LOVE Steve, and if you ever read my LJ you know that he's due to bring out a new CD, called "Groovin' on the Inside," any day now. If this doesn't persuade you to buy it, then nothing will.

Jason Manns - Another Number Steve co-wrote this with Jason, who has sung backup on Steve's albums in the past. His album is awesome. Buy it!

Jayhawks - I'm Gonna Make You Love Me is one of those songs that makes me smile whenever I hear it, and boy do I need smiles right now.

Blue October - For My Brother One day, I will find a vidder who is willing to make me a Sam/Dean vid to this song, because of all songs in the universe, this one is the Sammest and Deanest of songs.

That's it; that's all. I got nothin' else.

candygramme: (Free the Ducks!)
I wrote this for the X-Files Lyric Wheel a long time ago. At that time, I wrote:

Okay, I ought to be shot for this one. I am giving fair warning that it's horrid and I don't know where it came from. It was the song that did it. I can't imagine any other way to interpret the song.

But I still kinda like it, so here it is again. The song I was given is down at the bottom of the story.

Rated: H for horror.

Pairing: Mulder/Krycek... kinda.

Slightly slashy.

Consequences, )
