Where are you?

Sometimes at the weekend I just get on the bus and go, making full use of my transit pass and the fact that all zones are included at the weekend. Yesterday I roamed and at one point found myself downtown on Granville Street heading for another bus. It was a hot day, so imagine my surprise when suddenly I came upon this, on Granville street, between Dunsmuir and Hastings. It took up the whole block!









That last one ruined the illusion a wee bit, didn't it? Apparently they were filming a jeep commercial. Seems a bit over the top to me, but what do I know? A whole city block in the heart of downtown on Saturday lunchtime is how you advertise Jeeps, apparently.

Today was a good writing day. I finished something that's been hanging around forever and am on to the next thing... I hope.

Work has been hell lately. I need a clone. Tomorrow will be no different, because I have deadlines. Why do they insist on making me work?

@GennyCortese and @iAmMishMish have been terrorizing the whole of Europe with their genevisha posturing. @tomswelling and @morosenbaum72 are getting married. Mike seems to be carrying Tom's child. However, he's been traumatized by @iAmMishMish and now he won't come out of the house.

@GennyCortese wants to wear @kanester01's skull like a hat, or maybe she wants to fuck him. It varies from minute to minute. @icarusackles is currently green, but might be getting another dye job, even though he found (and chewed) a piece of paper that looks to be a marriage license between @kanester01 and @EltaDanneel, who had a rather drunken week down in Louisiana, punching giant catfish and partying. They ended up in Vegas, and now they can't remember what they did, but Elta is wearing a ring, and so is Kane.

@EltaDanneel is anxious that she can get the marriage annulled before she marries @UNpossiblyJA, who is currently missing his sweetie, @TXCandyMan, who when last spotted, was doing the nasty with @GennyCortese in some mode of transport. @GennyCortese just hadn't realized that getting married implies that you are faithful to only one person. She's been getting it wrong.

@cmmurray is in dire trouble with his girlfriend, and is currently resolving never to have sex again.

@bodylard4jandj was unfaithful to @steviemeatie, with Kevin Sorbo, but now he's rowing back to North America.

And then there is the stuff that's been happening in MY life! I went to see Adam Lambert on Thursday. That is all. Now I am good for nothing! He's hot, is all I'm saying.

My birthday is coming, and for my birthday I get to go see Adam Lambert! titheniel and onci_dium clubbed together, and my awesome husband boldly staked out Ticketmaster and achieved tickets. (The whole gig sold out in 10 minutes, so being physically present was absolutely necessary.)

So I get to go see Adam do his thing. I'm so excited.

titheniel has written me an Adam Lambert/Jensen Ackles fic, the hotness of which is scorching. Go, read, and send her love. I am all of a quiver.

I slept right through the alarm this morning. *sigh* I am in a sleep deficit situation.

Tonight I get to go see the American Idol tour. I feel delightfully immature, and oh, boy, ADAM LAMBERT! Whee!

Also, husband returns home later tonight. I will be out rocking with the Glambert, but he's allowed into the house anyway. The cat loves him.
