ah, I'm sorry, that sounds like it sucks, it's not like you can stop using your shoulder for awhile! We went on our trip friday afternoon, came back sunday afternoon, no skiing for us, though we did go ice skating and snowmobiling.

Yeah, I did have a cold, as did my spouse and there were quite a few issues with reservations for events and dinner getting lost, but they gave us a night free for that, so it worked out.

It certainly saves time. I don't know what I did last night, but I woke up this morning with it really killing me. Ouch!

1. fill said wineglass (with WINE or something stronger)
2. raise to lips
3. take a deep sip
4. repeat. do not rinse first.

It's very possible, but I was asleep, so I can't verify it. Motrin isn't helping, so your instructions will take effect as soon as I get out of the office.

I took 600 mg. (my pills come in 300mg per pill)

Jensen can rub it for me, and I will feel better.

*glees* Me too. It's going to be so fun. I don't really do the slots, because I am utterly unlucky and never ever win. OTOH, I am sure that you won't mind if Jensen is suddenly, mysteriously in our room. Should I bring handcuffs?

LOL! I had "beginners luck" with the slots when I was young and since then all downhill.

If a machine just keeps me busy I am happy. :)

Handcuffs would be perfect! ;) I wouldn't mind at all if Jensen just suddenly materialized.

I went to my first con (Chicago 2007) all by myself. I wanted to see Jared and Jensen so bad and thought I would have a great time. Little did I know that I would take from that con so much more and that I have gained such a group of awesome women that have become such dear friends!! I feel very lucky! :D

Me too. I did know one or two people because we'd had a fan run con a couple of weeks earlier, but when I booked I was going alone and kind of terrified. I had the time of my life, and like you it's all snowballed from there. I feel so blessed!

I had chatted with Marsha on an spn site and we talked about going first to the Burbank con with only Jared that was then cancelled, and then going to the Chicago one. I was to meet her and her friend, L in the hotel lobby. I did and we chatted briefly and I thought that was it, but all of you wonderful ladies are just that...wonderful!! :D

You guys were industrious to have a fan run con before that !!

It was great, that con. We got a screening of TIH. Loved it. Also, it helped to know someone once we were in Chicago.

I did. ~~Insane stalker~~ Focused, that's me...He was amazing to watch. The only problem was that I sat behind Danneel who was fidgeting and reading a book with a flashlight. That was distracting.

OMG!!! All I could do was envision him doing the final speech - yelling and all - he must have been amazing!!!! He would have been better than Tom Cruise to me.

I read that Danneel did that and was thinking no - surely someone made that up, she wouldn't do that during his performance. I had also read that one time she had brought girlfriends with her and they were noisy.

So much better than the movie. And Lou knocked it out of the park. I do have a (very poor) audio recording. I'll try and bring it with me for you.

And D was on her own, but so distracting I wanted to thwap her. So did Donna Ackles from the look of her. If you're going to be there to support, the least you can do is pay attention, and if you've already sat through half a dozen performances then feel free to stay home!

I have always liked Lou Diamond Phillips, so the combination of these two must have been magic!

Back then I saw fan vids of them signing autographs outside - did you go and do that as well? I would have loved to have been there also when Jared came. I was so happy to have read then how he went to surprise Jensen!!! :D

ITA on D's behavior. If she was so bored then don't go. How did she feel she was supporting him if she was doing everything BUT watching the show and everyone around her knew it?

Yep. He signed my program for me. I didn't manage to get near Lou though much to my chagrin.

And there was so much more to the production than there was to the movie. I didn't see the movie until after I saw the stage show, and I was really disappointed.

I can really see Jensen in this role. It is such a meaty role and I just knew he would hit it out of the park. After Supernatural, I truly hope he gets a chance a roles like this.

There was one scene where he was in baseball gear, and he was talking about hitting it out of the park. He did it very beautifully. It was a bit confusing that his first line on stage was "Sam? SAM!"

He was awesome, and hot in uniform.

I bet he was awesome and I remember reading that Jared even jumped at the beginning line - lol!

Someone who sat on the aisle said that when Jensen entered and was walking up the aisle to the stage, they could see the outline of his boxers under the white uniform pants! ;)

I know you said he and Lou were amazing, but was that end "You can't handle the truth" scene as powerful as the movie? I would think it would have been.
